Writer/producer Ernest Riera, SAI alumnus from our programmes (and now a Mentor), has sold no less than three of his feature projects in the last month!
Fox Searchlight bought “The Other Side Of The Door” (which Ernest co-wrote with his writing/producing/directing partner Johannes Roberts) and Johannes is now shooting in India; the Weinstein Company has bought “47m Down” (also co-written by Roberts and Riera) and Platform 9/The Salt Company will be shooting “The Pool” this August. Way to go, Ernest.
Ernest will be recieving pitches and guiding structure on the upcoming SAI Abbey Weekend Workshop.
