Now that your weekend festival/course/meeting is over, what are you going to do next?
As a relatively isolated film-maker what do you think you need more than anything else?

A game plan?
Contacts?
Discipline?
Collaborators?
Deadlines?
Commissions?
Information?
Script editors?
Feedback?
Inspiration?
A place to go?
Well, I can’t PROMISE you commissions (though our participants have an incredible record of getting work within the film/TV industries during the course of their programme with us).  But I can guarantee you everything else on the list.  And our programmes run over a year minimum.  That is a PROPER chunk of time to make substantial progress in all areas of a film-maker’s career.

And, if you join our set-up, you’re not a student.  You can park that identity at the door – you’re a professional developing quality work hand-in-hand with industry.  Our ethos is not to get scripts finished – that’s a given.  We’re a lot more ambitious.  We want to shorten the odds of work getting made and distributed.  Our collaborators include; Working Title Films, Ealing Studios, Plan B (Brad Pitt’s company), HBO, the BBC, leading literary agents (we have a deal with Curtis Brown) and so on.
